Earlier this month, Epic Games announced that Fortnite was finally getting an official first-person mode in Fortnite Ballistic. The early-access launch for Fortnite Ballistic arrived this morning, but it almost immediately ran into matchmaking problems, possibly due to demand.
When Fortnite Ballistic is working again, players will be able to dive into 5v5 battles featuring teams split between attackers and defenders. The attackers are tasked with setting off a Rift Point Device bomb, which the defenders have to disarm by any means necessary. If the bomb goes off, the attacking team wins.
